What SideQuest is

SideQuest is a place where brands and student organizations in the Philippines find each other and run paid work together. Brands post quests. Verified student orgs pitch for them. The brand picks the orgs that do the work, and both sides track the work and review each other on SideQuest.

SideQuest does not handle money

The reward on a quest is a promise between the brand and the student org. The brand pays the org directly, outside SideQuest. SideQuest does not collect, hold, send, or refund any payment, and it is not a party to the agreement between the brand and the org. The org can record on SideQuest whether the payment arrived, and that record shows on the brand’s profile.

Accounts and sides

• You sign up with one account, and you pick one side: brand or student org. The side does not change.
• Each brand and each student org has one owner. The owner can hand the role to another member.
• You give true information about yourself, your org, or your brand. The SideQuest team checks each org and brand by hand and can refuse or remove a verification.
• You keep your login safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account.

Quests, pitches, and work

• A brand describes the work, the deliverables, and the reward honestly. After the first pitch, the brand cannot lower the reward, remove spots, or change the deliverables.
• An org sends only pitches it can deliver, and sends honest proof of work.
• A brand can ask for changes to a deliverable at most two times. A submission approves automatically 7 days after it was sent if the brand does not answer.
• Reviews must be honest and about the work. We can hide reviews that break these terms.

What is not allowed

• Fake orgs, fake brands, or fake proof of work.
• Asking the other side for a fee to join, pitch, or be picked.
• Harassment, hate, or content that is illegal in the Philippines.
• Spam, scraping, or attempts to get into other people’s accounts.

Anyone can report a problem. The SideQuest team can warn, hide content, suspend an account, or change an org’s owner.

Changes and contact

We may change these terms. When we make an important change, we tell you by email before it takes effect. To contact the SideQuest team, reply to any SideQuest email.
